Bead Mill -Pin Rotor/Fixed Screen (SM-SR)

Bead Mill -Pin Rotor/Fixed Screen (SM-SR)

The pin rotor ball mill is the most traditional and widely used worldwide. It is used for grinding materials such as paint, varnish, pesticides, ores, etc.

Benchmarking the renowned brand Netzch, HKZN manufactures its high-quality pin rotor ball mill in all aspects, for example, a central shaft that rotates smoothly at high speed under the drive of an electric motor, a leak-proof mechanical sealing system, and a cooling system installed in the grinding chamber and feeding system, etc.

Because of its good quality and great cost-effectiveness, the HKZN pin rotor ball mill has been chosen by several important customers; for example, BYD is using HKZN ball mills to grind LFP material for the production of batteries for its electric cars.

In addition to the traditional structure, HKZN also has several innovations, such as a rotating screen to prevent clogging, and an ultra-long shaft driven by a permanent magnet motor to support the 1000 L grinding chamber. Please visit the pages of our other products for more information.

How it works:

The slurry flows horizontally through the bead mill from the inlet on the motor side of the grinding chamber.

During the process, the particles in slurry continuously collide, rub, shear and grind with the media to the target particle size.

Finally, the product of target particle size flow through the screen fixed on the rear of the grinding chamber.

Features:

Grinding the materials to nano-level (1μm-200 nm)

Used in the processing of almost all of the product that need to be ground to ultra-fine level and suitable for almost every viscosity.

Using grinding media of zirconia from 0.1 mm to 2.0 mm and several types of solvent, depending the product properties.

Various materials for product-wetted components to meet the different requirements, such as zirconia, polyurethane, alloy steel for rotor and polyurethane, zirconia, silicon carbide, stainless steel for inside layer of grinding chamber.

Optimized cooling layer equipped outside the grinding chamber, cooling coil beneath the sieve and the cooling device for the mechanical seal to control the temperature rise below 20 degrees.
